Build: make things with AI
You will make working tools with AI doing the typing and you doing the judging. Bring a small problem from your office and leave with something running on your own machine.

- Length
- 8 weeks
- Format
- Live online eveningsTue and Thu, 7:30 to 9:00 pm IST, plus one Saturday lab a week
- Cohort size
- 20 seats
- Fee
- ₹18,000Indicative. Assessment fees are separate.
Who it is for
People who make things.
Strands covered
- Strand 5, Local and private AI
- Strand 6, Coding with AI
- Strand 7, Knowledge, memory and reuse
Week by week
Modules run from level 1 to level 3 across the strands above, and each follows the same seven steps. The last week is a full mock assessment and the defence of your assignment.
Week 1
- Run models on your laptop (Ollama, LM Studio, llama.cpp) Strand 5, level 1
- No-code and vibe coding: first app in an hour Strand 6, level 1
Week 2
- Personal knowledge base; capture what you learn Strand 7, level 1
- Hardware: what to buy, GPU and memory, Apple silicon, DGX-class boxes Strand 5, level 2
Week 3
- Offline voice: local TTS and STT Strand 5, level 2
- Agentic coding harnesses (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor): workflow, permissions, review Strand 6, level 2
Week 4
- Software fundamentals for non-coders: git, tests, deploys, environments Strand 6, level 2
- Skills: turn repeated work into reusable playbooks that load themselves Strand 7, level 2
Week 5
- Continuity: resume files, handoffs, working across sessions and agents Strand 7, level 2
- Host your own content and apps: home server, VPS, reverse proxy, TLS, single sign-on Strand 5, level 3
Week 6
- Coding complex systems: architecture, specs, test-first, multi-repo Strand 6, level 3
- Shipping: CI/CD, hosting, monitoring, security basics Strand 6, level 3
Week 7
- RAG: AI over your own documents; chunking, retrieval quality, evaluation Strand 7, level 3
Week 8
- Full mock assessment, then the defence of your assignment before the cohort.
- Book your live assessment with AIQ Institute.
What you will be able to do
SparkLevel 1
Strand 5, Local and private AI
- Runs a model on own laptop with Ollama, LM Studio or llama.cpp
- Knows which tasks a local model handles well
Strand 6, Coding with AI
- Ships a first app with no-code or vibe coding
- Explains what the generated code does
Strand 7, Knowledge, memory and reuse
- Keeps a personal knowledge base and captures what is learnt
- Finds own notes faster than searching the web
TorchLevel 2
Strand 5, Local and private AI
- Chooses hardware: GPU, memory, Apple silicon, DGX-class
- Runs offline voice: local text-to-speech and speech-to-text
Strand 6, Coding with AI
- Uses an agentic coding harness with permissions and review
- Knows git, tests, deploys and environments well enough to be safe
Strand 7, Knowledge, memory and reuse
- Turns repeated work into reusable skills and playbooks that load themselves
- Keeps continuity: resume files, handoffs across sessions and agents
BeamLevel 3
Strand 5, Local and private AI
- Hosts own content and apps: home server, VPS, reverse proxy, TLS
- Wires single sign-on in front of what is hosted
- Keeps backups and can restore
Strand 6, Coding with AI
- Builds complex systems from specs, test-first, across repos
- Ships with CI/CD, hosting, monitoring and security basics
Strand 7, Knowledge, memory and reuse
- Builds retrieval over own documents and measures its quality
- Chooses chunking and retrieval settings from evidence
Prepares for AIQ Institute levels 1 to 3
Prepares for AIQ Institute levels 1 to 3 in strands 5, 6 and 7: Local and private AI; Coding with AI; Knowledge, memory and reuse.
Assessment and certification are conducted by AIQ Institute, an independent standards body; assessment fees are paid to the institute directly.
